Sanaag

So U.S. Africa Command said in a press release on Friday that its forces launched an airstrike in northern Somalia on September 17th.

As the Trump administration continues a record-shattering bombing campaign in the country, which receives virtually no U.S. media coverage, AFRICOM claimed that the strike targeted an al-Shabaab weapons storage facility in the Sanag region of northern Somalia, about 50 miles southwest of Bosaso, a port city in the Gulf of Aden.

in Somalia's Puntland region, and the U.S.-backed Puntland forces in the region, they issued a similar statement about the U.S. strike, again saying that it hit some sort of al-Shabaab weapons storage facility.

So one thing I missed, so this was on September 17th.
