And there's a story behind that, and that is when I was getting my first guide dog, they were telling us a story about dogs getting into habits, and there was a woman who lived in San Rafael, right near Guide Dogs for the Blind, and every day she would go into San Rafael, and every month she would pay her electric bill on a given day.

Then she would go off and do her business.

Well, she decided on a particular day with her guide dog that she wasn't gonna go in and pay her bill right away.

Um, because I had walked down 78 floors and walked all day.

And as Karen said, "You walk like a really old man, uh, not somebody who's only 51 and a half." And I ended up for the next week using the elevator probably a lot more than she did.

We both went down, we had breakfast, and she said, "You know, you really ought to call Guide Dogs for the Blind and tell them that you're okay." And I said, "Yeah, you're probably right," because people from Guide Dogs in San Rafael had visited us in the World Trade Center 'cause they, they knew I worked there.

So I called about 11:00.
