San Felipe Pueblo

OffBall has grown fast with brand partnerships with Nike, WhatsApp, and Cash App, an original content deal with NBC News, and now backing from Together.

Michaela tells us about Feast Day on the Pueblo and why you never turn down a plate, what it's like to let your dreams take a new shape, and what the intersection of sports and culture actually looks like.

This is Michaela Hammond, and this is how she pivots.

What is your name and what do you do?

I come from a very proud Native American family.

Our home pueblo is twenty miles north of Albuquerque.

It's called San Felipe Pueblo, and I spent the majority of my childhood going there, participating in our customs.

My family is just, like, a really proud native family.
