how do you like that whole argument about never buy your own house Samuel Leeds punts it all the time doesn't he but then if I've made 100 no I've not made 100 it's not an investment that's wrong but I would rather have that 100k equity go in my favour rather than go in a landlord's favour i

absolutely i started this debate on my introductory workshop on the first day and i'll even talk about assets and liabilities and just getting people's mindset right and i'd always ask that question like what is what do you think your own home is and asking a liability and i found that the last few times i've done one of these ones as no one said fucking liability it's no one no one said an asset everyone said a liability and i thought oh shit like everyone's realizing this we're changing our kind of mindset from home ownership is the is the pinnacle but the last one I did in Dunfermline a few weeks ago there was a woman in there she was in her 60s and she obviously says fucking an asset and like I argued with her and she argued me point blank in front of everybody and I was like but what the way I look at it is don't put your thinking and your mindset onto the 23 year old person that's sitting next to you that's an asset because it's fucking not because the person's affordability to get that property isn't what you had I said how when you bought your first property how much was it and she's like 900 quid It's like, and what was your wages? What we know about house ownership versus wages and what our parents and grandparents have taught us is wrong for today's generation.
