Officials say everyone on board was killed, including the pilot, after the helicopter went down in Samburu County, Kenya.

Now, can we just start off talking about Samburu County in Kenya? What's the profile of the area where you're working?

Not all, but the conservancy models in East Africa specifically, in certain areas.

So, for example, whether it's the Chulu Hills in the southeastern part of Kenya, whether it's up way north in the Northern Razors Trust in Samburuland, there's an effective model that essentially shows, okay, this is what we are doing.

We also have two critical reports out of Kenya that highlight the need for stability and truth in a fragile environment.

A fatal helicopter crash in Samburu County claimed seven lives.

Notably, the casualties included Ecuador's intelligence chief and five American citizens.

Investigations are currently ongoing for that.

They've been following the same routes for millennia.

I went to northern Kenya to the Samburu region and saw these elephants in Samburu National Reserve who were soon going to have to migrate out of the park in search of food.

And then I sort of followed the route that they were soon going to be traveling into a place that is rapidly developing.

And I don't mean the same kind of rapid development as you might see here with like asphalt and crazy highways, but this was a place that is a very kind of rural pastoral landscape where now the land is being privatized and everyone now has title to their land.

A tourist helicopter crash in central Kenya has killed all seven people on board, including Ecuador's intelligence chief and five US citizens.

The helicopter went down yesterday morning in Samburu County after departing from a wildlife reserve.

And the International Criminal Court has lashed out at the United States after Washington slapped sanctions on ICC President Tomoko Akane, calling it a flagrant attack on the court's independence.

EU's top officials immediately threw their support behind Akane, saying they stand firmly with the ICC president and her top officials.
