The final question in the first session was the first asked by Labour backbencher Samantha Niblett.

She has been campaigning for Brits to be more open about sex with a summer of sex campaign and a warning that avoiding such tricky topics can lead to undiagnosed health issues.

Her question about the campaign did seem to catch Andy off guard, however.

Samantha is a British Labor Party politician and has been the member of Parliament for South Derbyshire since 2024.

Before becoming an MP, Samantha had worked in the information technology sector for more than 20 years.

In 2022, she founded Labor Women in Tech, a campaign for the Labor Party to adopt policies to promote STEM subjects to girls and technology-related careers to women.

In August 2023, she was successfully selected as the Labor Party candidate for the South Derbyshire constituency, which since the 2010 general election had been represented by Conservative MP Heather Wheeler.

At the 2019 general election, Heather had won South Derbyshire by a margin of 19,335 votes over the second-place Labor candidate.

At the 2024 general election, Samantha defeated Heather by a margin of 4,168 votes.

Her Yes Sex, Please! We're British campaign is a call for lifelong education around healthy relationships, consent, and preventing abuse.

But it was her comments about pleasure, pornography, and sex toys that caused many in Westminster to have conniptions, and for some, made them into a figure of fun.
