Sam Warren

Matter of fact, that's where we'll start.

We've got football, and we talked to Sam Warren yesterday of the athletic.

He was like, no, we're really going to see.

We're going to see Fernando Mendoza.

And you have to fight noise, right? A lot of it.

And I don't think Clint Kubiak is going to have a problem with that.

Clint Kubiak is, as Sam Warren said yesterday, very coy.

Clint Kubiak plays things very close.

Ooh, 49ers-Raiders tonight.

And I believe we have, uh, young Sam Warren, the kid out of Redwood High School in Larkspur.

Yeah.

Our rival high school, who I once mentored in high school, and he's now thriving as an NFL writer for The Athletic.

Looks like he was running a crosser, and Hezekiah Massis jumped in there for the pick.

Sam Warren, when he and I were talking, he noted, like, really good to see Massis get in there for a pick over the middle of the field.

A lot of the stuff we've seen from him have been either on tips or on the boundaries, so kind of nice to see him mix it up a bit there and get in the mix over the middle of the field.

That was something that stood out for sure there.

And a lot of times, like I can tell you from my time, I was a scout team all-star in college, man, it was a specific university.

And a lot of times on scout team, if you're on the defensive side, offensive side, whatever it is, they tell you not really to make a play on the ball.

You know, that was something Sam Warren and I were talking about.

He played at Syracuse.

He's from Syracuse.

Sam Warren is now joining us.

He's with the Raiders every day.

[upbeat music] Okay, um, again, there was a drop pass, another one poked out.

Yeah.

But if there's something that, if there's something that the Raiders deem viable to, to pick up a veteran guy that maybe doesn't meet their timeline right now, um, I wouldn't be surprised to see him, you know, go out there and, and get moved.

Sam Warren, shout out Sam Warren, former Texans guy, but I think he said that he was out there.

So yeah, I didn't, but I didn't, I didn't notice him.

There was, there was a couple of nice plays from some of the, from some of the younger guys for the, um, for the Raiders.

It's about tightness.

So the other guy that I am going to question about, though, is Chris McCaffrey.

Because if he was... going to practice and it wasn't a joint practice situation does that mean they'd like him to play in the preseason i doubt it but i'd be interested to see i don't think christian caffrey how about trent trent williams
