I'm trying to think of some of the others in recent times that, uh, the second-time coaches.

Ross Lyon coming back hasn't really worked too well for them, so everyone's looking now for whether Sam Mitchell's the poster boy, uh, right now.

Stephen King, Josh Fraser, uh, that North Melbourne have said, "No, we're looking for a first-time coach now as well."

Are you surprised by that, Jimmy? And you look at this space pretty closely.

I did.

I got on the train at Burnley Station, and first person I bumped into was Sam Mitchell, the man in waiting, potential premiership coach.

Uh, just in his civvies.

He said he's not going to a corporate box or whatever, just there for a look, but pretty excited about what's ahead for him.

They weren't in the game at all, and credit to Hawthorn just didn't give them an opportunity to, to engage in the game.

And it was a really subdued affair, which is, uh, what Sam Mitchell would have loved to have drawn up.

Yeah, he's played in tough conditions, I agree, Peter.

And, uh, it was probably the pressure of Hawthorn but, uh-

yeah he's not staying so but yeah peddler is another type and it's interesting because him and mclaughlin are in the similar position that half forward you know like they're that high half forward and it looks like we're kind of in the mix for a couple of those players so yeah it'll be interesting in the next few weeks if we're linked to any more of those types as mid like the hybrid forwards like they can kick a goal they can play in the middle if they have to here and there So that's one to watch for me.

But yeah, obviously Deer.

And they've travelled over here with a plan.

And if they execute it how Sam Mitchell and his Hawks did, then we're in for a contest.

A real tight one.

Mate, I hope that they are as pumped as you are because if they are, they're going to come out fighting and I reckon we're going to have a really good game from Frio.

It's not what they wanted to do, but Hawthorn just found ways to, to bamboozle them a- and get inside their heads.

And the, the problem they've got is, y- you've now probably got a, a coach who's arguably more masterf- or is more masterful than the one they couldn't contend with last week in Sam Mitchell by the name of Chris Scott tonight.

So he'll have plans for all of them.
