Remember Sam Mills? Oh, yeah.

He was part of the Dome Patrol with the Saints.

Yeah.

Bryn Mawr is right outside of Philly, next to Villanova.

I was there for a signing last night with Paul Domowich, who wrote a book about Sam Mills.

Paul's a former writer for the Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia Inquirer.

So we signed a bunch of books, 50 books to be there.

Did you want

to get you a throwback Sam Mills jersey? Like, what is going on with you? I got a DeLong jersey underneath the sweater.

Number four comes from our good pal Jody Mack, who is talking to Paul Domowich.

Paul Domowich did a whole thing to get Sam Mills under the Hall of Fame.

The late, great Sam Mills.

And here's how that went.

We'll look back at the life and legacy of Panthers Hall of Fame linebacker Sam Mills on this episode of Locked on Panthers.

You are Locked On Panthers, your daily Carolina Panthers podcast.

Part of the Locked On Podcast Network, your team every day.

He also spent 2002 to 2026 as a Pro Football Hall of Fame selector.

But more importantly for you.

He wrote a biography chronicling the life of Sam Mills, Carolina Panthers Hall of Fame linebacker, former coach, and, of course, the man who coined the phrase, keep pounding, which is something that I close off every single show here on Locked on Panthers saying, but also something that means a great deal to the people here in Charlotte.

Of course, anybody who's a Panthers fan or a part of that organization knows So he wrote a book called Just Give Me a Chance to Fail the Life of NFL Hall of Fame Linebacker Sam Mills.
