Sam Heughan

salty.

Sam Heughan wasn't there.

Gosh.

Yeah, we didn't see Sam.

Ewan McGregor.

Sam Heughan, who I think was in Outlander, if I can remember right.

Okay.

Dougray Scott.

And as I like to say to him, you're now probably the most reoccurring guest.

You've beat Sam Heughan, you've done it.

That alone deserves a meal.

In any category of life where I can beat Sam Hu in anything, I will take and live.

Highlanders 10 next March just added Maria Doyle Kennedy, Andrew Gower, and Graham McTavish to their lineup.

Sam Heughan's Sassenach Fall Tour starts soon.

with dates in Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin, Orlando, and New Jersey.

Katrina Balfe's movie Tenzing is now out on Apple TV+.

It added to the scene and explained what was going on in that moment while we sort of said goodbye to all of these familiar faces along the way.

I don't know if you remember or how closely you follow the Outlander stars on social media, but a few months before the series ended, Sam Heughan posted a reel on his Instagram.

I can't remember if it was an Instagram Live or if it was just a video.

He had just gotten done with his additional dialogue recordings for Outlander Season 8.

We have so much symbolism in this last episode and Jamie has sacrificed so much for the stones, so to speak, and they have given him a lot too, and I think even though there were some fantastic performances by everyone involved in this episode, this episode is truly about Jamie's story.

And Diana Gabaldon has said Claire may be the main character, but it's Jamie's story all through the series of Outlander.

So to really see the symbolism of Jamie dying on the standing stone, it really reinforces The thing that Sam Heughan always says where if he could give Jamie any piece of advice, he'd say, "Don't do it.

Don't marry Claire.

But the person that plays Jamie Fraser has his own liquor brand, and he has done, like, different tours in the United States, and he has another tour that is coming back to the United States in this fall.

And now I cannot find his na- Sam Heughan.

[laughs] Um, and one of those stops happens to be here in Orlando, which I am so excited.

I've already blocked off that date because I will be there to meet Sam Heughan and get some of his liquor, even though I do not really drink alcohol.

But, like, how chaotic would it have been if they said on the actual date that he would've been here? Like, "Hey, so-and-so's here." Been like, "Why didn't you tell me like months in advance, like weeks in advance, so I could have planned to be there?" So everything needs a plan.

Now, I also don't want you to be in perpetual planning mode, but I will say recently I have been hearing, but I've heard this for as long as I've been supporting and mentoring the industry, that I have to be ready first and then I can start marketing, then I can start networking, then I can start meeting other people, then I can, like, put myself out there on social media.

So I, I really had intended to get into theater, you know? I would say Meryl Streep, Judy Reyes, Justina Machado.

Mm, Sam Heughan from Outlander.

[laughs]

You love, you, you love Outlander.

But I will say this too.

And we were talking about Sam Heughan earlier and, and that, that's a beautiful man, but I will say this, I love the way that they are showing Dougal's dual sides because always we see the hotheadedness from him, we see, you know, the impulsiveness, and we're used to seeing that from older Dougal.

But one thing we also saw with older Dougal, and very, um, you know, not very often, but we were able to see his softer side sometimes.

Like-

Yeah, [laughs] it is 6:00 PM here, and you guys really have gotta get yourself across here.

I feel like if we show up in Scotland, everyone's gonna think Paul Holes is Sam Heughan.

Who?

[laughs] Which would not be bad.

Sam Heughan is very popular.

He's a good-looking dude.

[laughs] Oh, but we digress.
