I spoke to them at the little party they had before, which again, I love the fact they had a pre-show party instead of a post-show party for us older guys, because I didn't get home till 2 a.m.

Well, speaking of that, let's talk about a man who probably did that better than most, and that is a man by the name of Gaul, who was once from the band Gorgoroth.

I encountered Gaul for the first time, I think, as many people did, from the Metal A Headbanger's Journey documentary, where Sam Dunn asked him a simple question, like, where do you get your inspiration from? And there was a long pause as Gaul sat in the dark corner of the room with a glass of wine, Took a sip, then there was another long pause, and he said very ominously, Satan.

And that was my introduction to Gaul.

And I thought to myself, okay, this guy's interesting, to say the least.

Neil Peart's iconic band mates Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are expected to attend the screening of Neil Peart: No One's Disciple, along with co-directors Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen.

Peart died of brain cancer in early 2020 at age 67, and Rush recently launched their first tour since his death.

I was banging around the house and smashing up pots and pans, and my parents got the idea that I liked to hit things with sticks.

And he's one to look out for.

And I think one of the key returners I'm gonna say for Leeds, Sam Dunn as well.

He, when he came in for, for them on the defensive l- core really helped strengthen that team and saw just how pop- delighted a lot the second he returned, uh, and was re-signed with them.

Yeah.

Neil Peart, no one's disciple, will receive its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Directed by Scott McFadden and Sam Dunn, who previously worked on the 2010 Rush documentary Beyond the Lighted Stage.

The 96-minute film will premiere September 16th with a public screening on September 19th With a public screening on September 19th, it will also air on Canada's CBC Network on September 23rd as part of the series The Passionate Eye.

The documentary features interviews with his fellow Rush bandmates Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Rush's current touring drummer Annika Niles, along with drummers like Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stuart Copeland from The Police, Danny Carey from Tool, all filling Neil Peart's seat at the drum kit.
