I think Bevo, to get the team into, you know, an elimination final away Adelaide and, and, and be in with a shout in the last quarter was a, a reasonable effort considering the injuries, um, particularly with Sam Darcy.

So my view would be if Bevo wanted to have another shot at the stumps next year with Darcy back from the ACL, I think the club would feel he's entitled to that.

Um, and of course, Geelong are the favorites for Butters, but you never know what might happen.

spike is the spike is something that you only pick up in retrospect it's not something that you can see in real time so it's probably not the greatest tool to use but i wonder if the hawthorne game is his spike the start of it it probably because it just like because from from then on he's been a completely different player hines He really has.

I mean, compare the Hines we had at the start of the season, the one that put his teammate, Jakes, under all sorts of pressure at Senna back in that game against the Crows back at the start of the season, the one who kicked it wide of Sam Darcy, which resulted in the knee injury down at the Cattery.

Compare that Hines to the one that we saw against the Hawks, the one that we saw against the Pies at the MCG, the one that we saw against the Ds where he kicked those two goals in the final term, even the one that we saw against the Dockers over at Optus Stadium.

But he's not just doing it.

this is gonna sound really odd, but when Tom Green went down with his ACL in, what, March or late February or what- whatever it was, I kind of went, "Okay, yeah, that's good 'cause he'll get a whole pr- like a full preseason and be fine for next se- be fine for next year." Like, that was my thought.

Like when Sam Darcy went down, "Yeah, cool.
