Is it, uh, w- how big is the settling in process for you?

Um, yeah, it's...

I think it's, um, it's different when a new manager comes in with a current squad.

I think it's harder for players to get to know the system that way, if that makes sense.

Because I'll-- For example, for me, and it is different, but I was joining a team that the manager's been there for numerous years.

The players are like 85% the same as last season and so on and so on.

You know, it's easier for me because I can just kind of ask around and just feel it.

But would you as a young player want to be there as a, not a pity pick, but just preserving a record? Would that bother you or not?

What's your first sort of emotion and reaction to Scott Penelbury joining the crew?

Yeah, probably opposite to Darce.

We're stoked to have him coming up here.

Yeah, I think he's going to add a lot to our club and particularly with just his knowledge of the game and football and leadership.

You know, we've got a really young leadership group and I think he's going to be a great addition to us.

to help him kind of lead the way in that regard.

And yeah, obviously he's a sensational footballer.

that sounds outstanding you're confident you can bounce next year obviously would be a bit disappointing you got the talent there we can all see it gun coach um could it just be that kind of uh anis horribilis you've had and up the ladder you go

But are we making assumptions?

Maybe.

I also do think though that, yes, Wharton wasn't a, a runner and Kamara's not very physical and quick, but they both were incredible on the half turn and playing around the corner and I still am yet to see that with Sangare.

And I, I, I've said it before, I love Sangare.

He's everything I probably want in number six.

He gets around the pitch fantastically.

He loves a tackle.

Um, so I'm throwing a couple of extra names at you there if you wanna pick up on that.

Is, is that fair? And how integral are these two midfielders going to be?

[clears throat] Yeah, there's huge reliance on the midfielders.

Um, he puts a lot of trust on them.

A lot of the times the three center halves will bounce the ball into midfielders, even if they've got a man on them, just so the midfielder can pass them the ball back and then it changes the whole picture of the game.

That's something Glasner's big on, I think, constantly changing the picture on the pitch.

He's just ob-- I think he's obsessed with a midfield overload from what I've seen when I watch Palace.

And you'll see this a lot really, um, especially during his time at Palace, where Adam Wharton's not necessarily even facing play, but you know he's got the quality to pass the ball around the corner.

But do we have to have some pace in the team, and how does that relate to our, our current squad versus transfers, do you think?

Um, w- what do you make of him tactically, Sam, from what you've seen in Palace or, or any other learnings that you've, that you've taken up?

I think it's brilliant.

I think it's really refreshing.

Um, I knew this before the video to be fair, Matt, but I watched the same video and he actually spoke about Klopp, how he was a massive idol for him and he loves the gegenpress they call it in Germany, um, where just get after, get after teams really and it doesn't even have to be a high press but as soon as you lose the ball back you're after the other team and you wanna win the ball back and I love that and I think that's something I'd love to see at Forest.

I think City ground's perfect for that kind of football.

Um, I love the way he plays, I really do.

I think, yeah, often it's like a 4-4-2 out of possession 'cause one of the wing backs bumps on and the other wing back tucks around and then you'll have, uh, one of the 10s kind of pressing with the striker as a two and then the other 10 going out as a winger.

Uh, what about you, Sam?

I think, um, there's not a, there's not a lot I can add to that because I agree with both points of view.

I think if you look at it from a stats and factual point of view, as we know Sean Dyche often likes to allude to on TalkSport, um, then he actually didn't really hinder the club that badly.

The points per game isn't actually that bad like he says, but your eyes don't lie to you.

I always go back to the eye test.

If football was played just using facts and figures like that, there's no point.

And I think, as Greg said, someone that goes to the games as regular as Greg did, it wasn't good.

Why do you think, if you have any particular reason, why we've had players like Zach and players like Jimmy Sinclair who have threatened to really break through but not been that kind of £50 million player that's really been, you know, the next one? Is there any particular reason you think at this stage?

underwhelming, I think.

But it's been a really positive few weeks under Vitor Pereira.

And I think I agree with what Chris said.

I echo what he said.

I'm proud of the team.

proud of the fans and it's been some journey.
