But I felt like it was kind of obvious that was going to happen.

And she didn't get as many minutes as I'd hoped throughout the season.

I think a lot of it came down to the fact that she often couldn't play wing attack when she was needed.

She's landed a contract back home.

And we've talked about Fretwell.

I think 10 out of 10 signing from Sam Bird there.

We've talked about the fact that she's got that experience that she'll bring, the training, hopefully she'll up that training environment for all the other players, but she can also play all three attacking roles.

And I also will probably say it might be too late for a couple of them because they've missed their opportunity in the past.

But I also think Sam Bird, she wants this title back.

And I think this team, the team that were here last season, will want to fight for that title back again.

And we'll go on to speak about Loughborough Lightning in a minute, but there was rumours about Lightning players retiring and they've stayed.

But should we be looking at, like, developing coaches in the Super League more before giving them straight that job? Like, again, Sonia wasn't an assistant coach or anything in the Super League before she got there.

Whereas I think, like, most other coaches...

Like Vic Burgess, Karen Gregg, Sam Bird, they've all done their stints in like not the head coach role first and look at what they do now.

Yeah, I think there's a big discussion that needs to be had about coaches and the training programmes they're put through and whether or not the person at England Netball that's supposed to be doing that is doing the job at the level that needs to be done to get these coaches through.
