You know, I wanted a live record that maintained its live sound, that felt like it was made in a real studio.

And then I wanted to sprinkle a little bit of makeup on it.

Overall, the creation of the project was just a beautiful process.

Sam Barsh is one of my best friends.

He's my soul brother.

I don't just want to take a song and make it slow and then now it's new.

I think like what we all do, we had our own personal artistic touch.

And to me is one of my favorites is, you know, gin and juice of Snoop Dogg and just playing it at these really beautiful, luxurious, like five-star resorts and giving it that aha moment to the people in the audience.

Like, is that gin and juice? And it's like, yes, it is.

It's just been such a useful tool.

I think when I switched to using backing tracks is just when a lot of consistency happened for me and my performances.

And that is just something for me personally that made it more fun because then I didn't feel like I was flailing every time with a band or with somebody else.

I was like, okay, we actually have structures.
