Salts Mill

That actually once I'd put the poetry to one side and started listening to some of the stories, then that became much more interesting for me.

And stumbling across Tony Harrison's play that he did at Salts Mill was then an extra layer.

I got hold of that script, and I read that script and was very interested.

I could see what Tony was doing with, you know, that double meaning, and, uh, has got one particular way of seeing John, which is that e- eventually he was a little bit of a sellout, and that actually he wanted fame rather than the process.

We talk about poppies because we've touched on poppies last week and obviously we're coming up to poppy season.

She volunteers at the Peace Museum, which is located in Saltsmill, close to where she lives.

It's the only peace museum in the UK and there are over 250 war museums in the UK.

So that's where the priorities are.

And did I mention I went to a former dark satanic mill, you referenced them on Tuesday when we were talking about data centers, when we were talking about those enormous industrial buildings that symbolized the Industrial Revolution, and I went to, uh, one yesterday that's been repurposed as an art center, Salts Mill, which is just outside Bradford in Yorkshire, and is now a, a David Hockney gallery, and has a very nice, uh, very nice diner with it.

And weirdly, I ran into someone from your town while I was there, so go figure.
