So another thing is that she photographs her kids a lot in these series.

So in that respect, it made me think of Sally Mann a little bit.

And while stylistically it's not the same, I think content-wise there's probably a mix of – candid and portraiture like man does she had a mix of staged and candid photos um of just living your life um which i love to see it's really interesting just these sort of images i like the you know losing a tooth photo yeah it's very relatable as a parent Yeah, it's

like gory, but it doesn't feel gory in real life.

And I looked at it on the print and I'm like, this looks like Sally Mann took this picture.

yeah you know what i mean so i was like that's kind of crazy like that that looks like a sally man idea you know or this one over here it looks like it could have been taken by like gordon parks in this era or like i mentioned sebastian so i gotta like you definitely see where things kind of repeat themselves but at the same time Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

My work goes beyond theirs.

It captures the liminal, the crossing over, and what follows.

Sally Mann is mine she was the one I can see that she moves me and like wait I can't even explain what it is about her work that just there's such a raw And she's not afraid of dark themes, which I, and I think that's the facet of me.

That's hard to share because there is a, there is a well, like, I don't know what it is.

I am very like light and loving and warm and nurturing, but I'm not afraid of death and like hard things.
