And then another area is in the actual mechanisms, the actual-- what is actually happening in there when you breathe? Like, what is the-- what is respiration? Like, what is actually happening w- at a physiological level? So those are a couple of areas in the book where I, I, I, I've tried to bring some light to, to some foundational information, as well as the science of the effects of the, uh, of, of these practices.

And then at the other end of it all is how do we apply these in our lives? And in that, what I've tried to do, especially in the part three of the book, is to offer alternative applications of these breathing practices for different health conditions, as well as other intentions, such as how you can use the breath in a variety of ways in meditation, how you can use the breath in friendship, and having clear conversations, clear communication with ev-- with whomever you care about, from the workplace to your home.

And then going further in a more intimate level, how do you bring breathing into your most intimate relationships, as in, like, with a partner? How do you breathe in ways that allow you to be more present to the immediacy of experience with someone else and the-- to sustain that presence with every sensation that's coming to you amidst whatever intensity you're experiencing amidst the interaction that you're sharing, that you're enjoying with or caring with someone.

The breath is central in this, and I tried to provide some guidance in all of that.
