Sally Clarkson

I'm getting deja vu.

And I was talking about the book, The Mission of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson and how it changed and opened my eyes so much, changed my heart and opened my eyes in hearing her talk about correcting your children and discipling your children and with scripture.

And it's like, right, okay, yes, with biblical principles, but actually using scripture to say, you know, that's not honoring your father and mother, because I told you to please pick up your toys.

So you say, yes, mama, you don't say no and stomp away, you know, to actually use scripture in correcting and whatnot.

Some of my top books of 2026, I will share with you and I will share just general categories.

So I revisited Seasons of a Mother's Heart by Sally Clarkson.

And if you're looking for motherhood inspiration, I really love Sally Clarkson.

She's like in her 70s.

I listen to her podcast from time to time.

And it's like a legacy kind of book, but I can't think of the name of it right now.

All right.

So Sally Clarkson, I really like as a motherhood kind of direction, but I really liked What else did I really like this year? Oh, I really liked Theo of Golden.

So we really enjoyed that.

I did love the resource, Our 24 Family Ways, that was written by Clay and Sally Clarkson.

And although there's maybe a couple of things I disagree with them on, in other realms, this particular book was excellent.

So we really liked our 24 Family Ways.

But there was one book that I read.

Do you know who Sally Clarkson is? Yeah.

Yeah.

So she wrote a book, Mission of Motherhood.

Mm-hmm.

And I kept thinking in those years, you know, those tween years and stuff, I would say, "God, [laughs] you were there for Sally Clarkson, and you helped her get to the end of her...

Like, where she's at.

She raised her children.

So I went and contacted...

Well, I thought about if there was any book of Sally Clarkson's, if there was just one that I could offer to the Spanish-speaking world, which one was, would it be? And I prayed about it, and I read, you know, the, um, I read about books that I hadn't read of yours too, and then it was Know the Mission of Motherhood.

And so I contacted Clay and I said, "Look, this is what's happening.
