A trial date has been set for the driver accused of hitting and killing NHL star Johnny Grido and his brother Matthew.

Sean Higgins will go on trial next year during a pretrial conference hearing in Salem County.

A judge scheduled the trial for July.

I'm sorry January 5th with jury selection starting in December.

Jury selection will begin December 1st.

Higgins is accused of driving while impaired when he allegedly struck and killed the brothers as they rode their bikes in Salem County back in 2024.

Um, we now have a project that we're starting in Salem County, um, which is one of our s- smallest counties in the state but has tremendous po- pockets of poverty.

And so really looking at, um, setting up a food pharmacy within one of our hospitals, um, there.

So that would, again, provide another place where people can go to get that what they need, um, before they can get their distribution from the, from the large food bank.
