What is ha- what is happening? What, w- w- uh, is, is this on purpose? As that slowly dawns on you as you're watching all that, and you're connecting with, uh, with pals and, uh, and family, um, around the country.

And I remember Sal Iacono, Dan Dratch, and I talking, and we got together because it was better than being alone as three single guys.

And we got together and, and, and to, to [laughs] to, I guess, make, uh, this little personal circle complete, we went for Cajun food.

And this win gives you a solid footing to start the season.

Now, it would have been better if Drake May, or as Cousin Sal calls him, Drake Maybe, if he would have made some plays yesterday and we could have been staring at Seattle at 0-1.

Did not happen because they're good.

But I do think that this, even in a game one, I think this win, it will look important if the 49ers take care of business in these next two games.
