Saint Vincent College

... like, once a season.

Um, my favorite ty- well, my favorite animal, I love a good otter, however, I went on a field trip, uh, with the education department at St. Vincent College and we got to learn from the, the zoo educators.

And I really enjoyed getting to feed the giraffes that are at the zoo.

Mm-hmm.

At training camp, You know, that first Saturday, back together football or whatever the NFL calls it.

St. Vincent College, that's always Hall of Honor Day.

So this past summer, Kevin Colbert was one of the people who went in the Hall of Honor.

Kevin Colbert, JT Thomas, and Craig Wolfley.

That's probably true.

He is professor of political science at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, which is known for being the home of?

Fred Rogers.

And-

There's still a golf course there, still a really nice club, so Arnold Palmer was a, a local.

Yeah.

A beautiful little town, uh, but, uh, but for all of those accolades, I'd say that, uh, being home of, uh, of Saint Vincent College is probably at the top.

Oh, I think that's, think that's, uh, think that's a good, that's a good statement.

Um, it, it was just the worst possible time for all those things to bubble up on the day that Porter got traded, but it underscored to your previous point how they did this backwards.

Like, when I saw the Benton contract immediately when it happened, uh, out at St. Vincent College still, my, my first thought was unnecessary.

Unnecessary.

Didn't have to do it.

Um, so for example, um, one of the biggest ways we look at that now is through our initiative Educators Neighborhood, and we look at how communities of support can help to improve wellbeing of educators across contexts.

Um, then also in my role, do writing, like manuscripts, and also practitioner pieces, and white papers, and presentations, and keynotes, and, um, jump in on facilitating groups for Educators Neighborhood and teaching classes here at St. Vincent College.

So it's...

I feel really lucky.

in this past draft.

It was evident up at St. Vincent's College.

You and I talked about it the minute we saw him up there.

He was the superior right tackle.

Across all positions, his focus has remained consistent: developing employees, improving operational efficiencies, and planning for the long-term needs of the communities he serves.

Kenes holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Vincent College and a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University.

He also maintains Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, ADEQ, Grade four certifications in water treatment, water distribution, wastewater treatment, and wastewater collection.

The Town of Prescott Valley welcomes Kenes to his new role and looks forward to the leadership and experience he will bring to the utilities department.

It was.

And you know what? If memory serves, I think the Pittsburgh Steelers practiced this exact drill about 37 times up at Saint Vincent's College.

The fumblerooskie?

Mm-hmm.
