Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra

It's been many, many years in the making.

And finally, we settled with a double commission from LACO and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

So, yeah, we just performed that back in May and it was fantastic.

so much fun, so much fun to play with Anthony and to get to know Chris a little bit better.

And because of that, it's really, really guided my career in different ways.

I worked for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra for over a decade, did composition residencies in school orchestras and bands.

And I'd go in for 10 weeks and... work with kids to teach them to express themselves and not just other people's music.

And so I had them all write their own music.

And I would pick out ideas from each of their compositions.

And then I created a master composition, which was ultimately performed by their band or orchestra.

Sometimes it was actually performed by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
