Saint Joseph's University

After observing how I worked with that student, he told me that the way I approached support, teaching, and problem solving reflected the principles of ABA and suggested that I pursue it professionally.

He even pointed me towards St. Joseph's University.

That conversation changed the trajectory of my life.

I enrolled later that year, graduated in 2010, and became a board-certified behavior analyst in 2012.

While in college, Gino was hired to coach JV girls basketball at Bishop McDevitt School in Glenside, Pennsylvania, driving an hour each way for the job, and he made just $400 for the entire year.

Gino would also go on to coach at St. Joseph's University as an assistant, as well as at his school, Bishop Kenrick High School, before eventually taking an assistant job at University of Virginia.

Then, in 1985, Geno was offered the head coaching job at UConn over a cup of coffee at Dunkin' Donuts.

He inherited a program that was a bottom dweller and largely irrelevant, and turned it into a national powerhouse.

There was always someone at the house, or they were always at somebody else's house, and it was really a lot of fun.

And, you know, eventually Kristen went off to high school, and she got a partial scholarship to a college called St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Had, again, many friends, you know, eventually got an apartment with a roommate.

In the fall of her last year at St. Joseph's, there were all these interviews.

She earned a bachelor's and master's degree in criminal justice and sociology from St. Joseph's University, and she lives by her powerful belief that great vision does not require great sight.

Heather Edwards was diagnosed with Konrad dystrophy at the age of eight.
