Okay, so this is really a little bit before we started the magazine, but it's still the 90s, and it still felt like little victories.
Martin PopoffHOST
20:53
You know, grunge has taken over and is doing great and is all the rage, but there are some late-period hair metal victories that still felt, you know, at least at the time it might have felt like... big drop off but now looking back you know knowing how hard it really was for bands to get gold and platinum records um looking back it's still cool that it happened so it's really cool that saigon kick with the lizard which is more like alternative metal it's pretty noisy sounding it's pretty pretty rough and raw um but melodic at the same time creative we like that about it cool band, you know, weird, weird band name and weird, uh, you know, the lizard for the album, but it goes gold.
Martin PopoffHOST
21:37
Pretty cool.

It was number five and I wanted to, but this is an opportunity for me to have different songs that I would have never been able to talk about, but.

Lynch Mob is so incredible, and he is 100% right.
JimmyHOST
26:16
Lynch Mob wouldn't, the second album specifically, would not have really existed without the groups like Saigon Kick and Extreme.

So 11 years old, just focused on girls, you know, not a thought in my mind about UFOs or aliens, playing with my He-Man toys, listening to my Saigon Kick and Alice in Chains.

Saigon Kick, Love Is On The Way.
Jacob GivensHOST
54:11
That one just popped back in my head when I was doing the Silent Lucidity earlier, because I was thinking about riffs, and I remember hanging out with my buddy Brian, and I would play that riff when we'd be playing guitars together, and it would drive him crazy, because I would just suddenly start playing Saigon Kick, Love Is On The Way.
Jacob GivensHOST
54:27
I would play that while we were trying to play cool stuff, like Metallica, Megadeth, you know.

In the early '90s, Sam played in the South Florida band The Holy Terrors, and was part of the same music scene that produced Marilyn Manson, Jack Off Jill, Saigon Kick, and The Mavericks.
