Saganaki

It was a great restaurant row, but you felt like there was an authentic culture great community and great experiences.

I mean, Saganaki, Opa aside, but everybody who grew up here.

It was

invented in Chicago.

So different.

I would take Saganaki every

day of the week.

So I was the girl that got featured from that area.

And, of course, my whole menu was a dedication to Greek food, Saganaki prawns, my beautiful Yaya's Basticho, and now something that has been the biggest seller is my yummy mummy baklava ice cream.

So... 30s life.

Tell us some other ways that Yaya impacted you.

She would bring out, like, everything because that's exactly what she would do at home, everything.

You would sit down, table would be filled with food, cheeses, meats, dips, breads, everything.

Saganaki? Oh, definitely a saganaki.

But my favourite, my absolute favourite was when Nya would cook on the suvla, the lamb, the coal, the lamb.

Well, as you know, Bendigo is the first city of gastronomy in Australia, and we focus heavily on our local produce here.

So today we've got some Saganaki here.

The mandarins have come out of Gravel Hill Community Garden, which is literally a walking distance away.

Beautiful steak here from Balan, which is just near Dalesford.

That's awesome.

And so we had Saganaki came out.

I've actually never had that.

And so I saw that on the menu and I really, really wanted to have that.
