I thought she was fantastic.

I thought she was exchanging with Sabrina D'Angelo.

It was nil-nil the score, exchanging fantastic saves back and forth and back and forth, and sometimes a player, irrespective of the start, needs that moment to be like, "Oh, yeah, I've got this." She's got it.

And it's really interesting, 'cause if you would've asked me a couple weeks ago, I wouldn't have thought that Kaitlyn Talbot wouldn't have had that much competition.

So, first of all, I think it's very good that players are choosing the Northern Super League as their next location in their careers.

I think that's very good for the growth of the league, especially if we're getting high-profile names, like veteran names, not even just the names that came in this window, like Jelena Zdorsky or Sabrina D'Angelo, but chose him for us.

That's a very high-profile move, and I think players choosing the NSL is good for the future growth for the league.

But moving on to individual teams, I think Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary all made starter or starting-level player additions

Like, Nikki Small was there.

Shalina Zdorsky, Sabrina D'Angelo were our panelists.

And then Victoria Pickett was also in attendance.

She didn't get picked to be on stage, picked... picked up to be on stage but uh she was there supporting her team she's in the picket line she was in the picket line she was out there signing autographs by the way uh that was nice to see but i just love this uh you know every team has their own official supporters groups um We could list them off.

Moving on to Aston Villa, I think they've had a pretty productive window here, actually.

They've lost some depth pieces, you know, Sabrina D'Angelo, Ebony Salmon, who's, I think, her career trajectory has been a head-scratcher.

Lucy Stanforth, but I think the big one, of course, that shouts out is Christy Hansen.

Moving over to Tottenham, great business for Tottenham, but for Aston Villa, that's a huge, huge miss.

Jordan Brewster came in, then Jordan Brewster got hurt, so they had to make some adjustments, especially in their back line.

And after the game we were talking to Sarah Rollins and Lena Solano, and, um, they were both saying that, um, you know, it's a next player up mentality with this team, so Colbi Barnett stepping into the back and, and filling the void, and obviously the play of Shalina Zadorski and Sabrina D'Angelo can't be, you know, counted out.

I mean, I think that they've really solidified things back there.

Um, yeah, so just credit where it's due.

Long may this continue as you steal points from other teams.

Um, from right to left on our back line, Julianne Vallerand is the lone representative for the Tides for week 18, Sarah Rawlins for AFC Toronto, Tori Tumuth, and apologies, I've got the Calgary Wild logo there.

She's got 43% of Villa's league goals.

But alongside her leaving the club, the aforementioned Jenna Nice, Sabrina D'Angelo, keeper, Gabby Nunes has gone, Ebony Salmon has moved to West Ham and Lucy Staniforth has also left the club.

So fantastic.

Like I said, it's not exactly the team with the most people departing, but it's a lot of important parts to their team.
