2 million hectare open ecosystem in terms of the Kruger National Park, but you don't necessarily have access to all 2 million hectares when you're in the Sabi Sands.

And where in Kenya, for example, if you're staying in the Triangle, you've got access to the Triangle and the National Reserve, which gives you a massive, massive area to traverse in.

But that means that your days will be much

So it's probably about a third of the way up the park.

The park runs like north-south for a few hundred kilometres.

Um, one of them is in praise of shadows, um, which is a book about Japanese aesthetics and somewhat about architecture, which is actually what I studied.

um in praise of shadows uh junichiro tanizaki i think yeah and yeah incredible really short read uh i think it's like 100 pages or something like that it's more of an essay almost and just beautiful ideas about life and uh aesthetics Another one we talked about, Kruger, is The Lion Tracker's Guide to Life, which is a book by a gentleman called Boyd Varti, who runs a game reserve, Londa Losey, in the Sabi Sands.

And that is, if you're ever feeling like you're not sure where your life's going, what the next, or you're at a fork in the road and you're trying to figure out what the future looks like, that I think is a book that, for me, has been a constant guide.

And this is the thing.

We were just in the Sabi Sands a couple of days ago, and that's leopard paradise.

And as you said, South Luangwa is also leopard paradise.

And you go to certain areas where you can see leopard, but then there's other areas where lions are a lot more prevalent.

um yeah so yeah

and you know that's actually where knowing the different destinations becomes really important for example medicare is really really good for malaria free and as well as like medicare for us is specifically child friendly just because the lodges they are specifically designed that it's child friendly like more younger children you know whereas somewhere like sabi sands mala mala is more suited to like classic luxury big five safari experience with like incredible leopard viewing but it's a little bit less on the child-friendly side yeah some of them are child-friendly yes but maybe not so young children you know and also because of the fact that it's not a malaria-free area

yeah that changes a lot of things like obviously There's areas that aren't malaria-free areas that you can still go to, you just have to consult a doctor, or you just go in a sort of non-mosquito season.

Some people just like that peace of mind.

There's normally like a flight service and we will book that for you and any kind of transfer.

And most road transfers are, let's say from one of the airports near the lodges is normally kind of included in what the lodge offers it will be specific on which lodge you're going to some of them if you're going to one of the airports that's a little bit far away then they'll charge like a little bit extra but it's something we can organize for you so you know it's just really stress-free and even with the timing of everything because you can actually have like the most incredible lodges in the world but if that itinerary between the lodges doesn't really make sense then it's not going to feel seamless yeah

yeah and that's probably one of the biggest things people don't necessarily realize is what we're doing is we're putting all of those pieces together that make everything easy for you and um you know so for example like if someone wants to combine like madikwe tsalu and sabi sands For those who don't know, Tualu, Sabi Sands and Madikwe are all in opposite sides of South Africa, somewhat, which is a pretty big country.

If you had to drive from Madikwe to Tualu, it's like 10 hours.

Because it's, Dani, it's honestly, especially if you are passionate about safari, the safari needs to be on your list because it's so different to anything else you would have done.

You can come with your, you've been to Loa Zambesi, you've been to South Luangwa, you've been to the Masai Mara, to the Sabi Sands.

I will still tell you that this is going to be more unique than that.
