I think My Hero was actually the song I was thinking of.

SWAT I have not seen, so I'm gonna, I'm, I'm gonna have to go with My Hero.

Yeah, okay.

They still don't have the S.T.A.R.S. team.

It was actually just focused on like a SWAT team.

There's no Umbrella Corporation.

It's very default government, default SWAT.

And they're investigating a bunch of mutated

animals that have been attacking people in the forest.

Yeah, but it's not clearly stated.

I think it's funnier if they're not infected because the scientists immediately try to infect Jill and Chris because that was the actual secret goal of the mission.

And Michael Biehn's character, Baylor, must be like a government contractor with the military showing up to see what they have.

And he brings his elite crew of SWAT to test out these super soldiers.

um i love the whole exposition scene where all these dudes are like hanging by chains and they're not really activated yet and they're they're building them up to be like this this mythic status you know it's classic it reminded me

though in dodgeball where he's like and this is my crew laser laser yeah blazer

yeah i thought it was a really interesting and creative way to kind of turn what could have just been generic looking soldiers into these really badass villainous super soldiers i mean the butcher himself they kind of gave him this tattered thing over his military gear that looked like a cape and the other two the you know the cry baby um and the cockroach had like skull look like molded like steel skull masks that they wore and obviously it's super science fiction-y and b-movie-ish but like i loved how their eyes glowed the whole movie like there's no reason for that at all other than like it looks cool i mean i can count there's like five or six times where we see the same fucking shot of them just standing posing you know totally still i loved it and i was like we're gonna see the same shot over and over again but it was cool it was definitely a john carpenter right out of the fog shot he was aping that like a and i was like totally cool 10 minutes

oh yeah i loved it i mean he was i mean if you look at this it's half the movie is the fog half the movie is assault on prison 13 and i'm not mad about it with halloween

there's halloween in there there's the terminator in there i mean it's mixing all this stuff together um but so for example we get to see that first sequence where they take out all the SWAT guys and we're led to believe that these super soldiers are smart enough to stop their heart.

They can look like they're dead as a defense mechanism.

Were you in a rural area?

Baby, I was in the SWAT.

I was in the Southwest Alief, Texas, which is southwest of Houston.

So this is Houston and the H, as we like to say, and then there's the north side, south side, west side, Katy, and then there's east side, which we don't really go over there 'cause that's basically Louisiana.

And I was down here in the SWAT.

Okay.

So it's all the Greater Houston area, but we was in the SWAT down here.

Mind you, 30 years prior, it was all cows in that area.
