So some investment was put into that, but then again, there had to be, uh, we had to think about what type of recording machines and what do we do with them, where we, uh, acquire them from, what sort of budget will go in there.

Yeah.

Uh, so the only thing which I could think and suggest was semi-professional equipment, where at least we could have some edit functions in them.

Super VHS was targeting the professional market-

Okay.

And he had a little VHS editing system and VHS camcorder.

Yeah.

And so my [laughs] brilliant idea was, "Wow, he's got all the equipment I need to do [laughs] this."

Yep.

"We'll just get like $10,000 and shoot it on VHS video." Great.

What happened?

Uh, well then when, after Sam got involved, then he tried to kick it up a notch.

It does a lot of things that has to be done when you're doing video editing.

We also have two top-of-the-line S-VHS decks which we purchased back then, which we thought would work perfectly for our needs.

Now we, we found out that they won't because they have no ability for a sync or genlock Input.

And it's really the sync that we need because all of the equipment we're purchasing now has to be synced.

Beta will produce the most beautiful picture that you'll ever see.

Digital is five hundred horizontal lines.

Hi8 and S-VHS are four hundred horizontal lines.

You can see a big difference, a huge difference between regular VHS and Hi8 or S-VHS.
