But as much as there was the good, there was the bad with the in-game interviews.

The last Friday night game of the season, there was pure chaos that erupted in the third inning, and Franny and Dan and Ryan Zimmerman were talking to Cade Cavalli about his extension.

And we're gonna get into Cade's extension, we're absolutely gonna talk about that.

But they were more or less questions that he'd already answered in his press conference.

And this was, you know, when the Nationals were the division champs.

I mean, they were running through that NL East division.

And I walked to the weight room, because we had just gotten chewed about getting, you know, we got beat pretty bad twice.

And our strength coach said, Well, what did our manager expect? He's like, they have Ryan Zimmerman playing third base, and we have Josh Fitters.

Josh Fitters is a great player, but he's a 21-year-old kid.

And Ryan Zimmerman anchored that lineup for 12 years.

You see what I mean? He's a generational star.
