The players are loving, you know, going to work.

know everyone's working towards the same thing so luke ryan everyone involved have to figure out how to translate what they're doing on the training ground to a run of results and it's really easy in football if you get a run of results this is all forgotten you know so winning takes care of everything right we always say that um you know equally that if your manager lost five games in a row because of the expectations raised by your form the last like two years 18 months everyone's like how far do we let that go

I mean, the two games thing, Graham Alexander got booed, or the team got booed after losing two games.

Right.

I think it's the style of football that's hurting some of them, to be fair.

I mean, you look at players like Dan Barlaza in particular and Ryan Wintle in some senses, but I think the quality of Ryan Wintle is just kind of shining through even in the poor moments.

So you can see why he was essentially the best player of the league last season for Cardiff and a bit of a surprise still that he came to Milton Keynes this season.

I think, yeah, people like Balazs, I think in the first game of the season against Oxford, we really saw what he's about.

There's absolutely... zero to criticize about the way he goes about playing his game and and i think the fact that we're seeing bowler play the way that bowler does is in no short measure down to the fact that he's so good behind him so listen i i I don't want to go too OTT over scoring eight plus, but he's been a great, great signing for me.

Do you know who he reminds me of, Tim, in the way you say that he just nobody particularly, he reminds me, do you remember when we got Ryan Wintle in? And just every week, Ryan Wintle was just, we were just like, yeah, we'll give him an A.

And Williams feels like the defensive version of Ryan Wintle in that you just kind of, like you say, he doesn't stand out.

He's not showy.

You don't kind of go, come off, go, wow, come off.

Cannon dusted himself down and cannoned it in for 1-1.

And then Robertson... who's playing in the defensive midfield role vacated by Ryan Wintle.

So Robertson's had to adapt his game to play deeper.

It's probably not, to my eyes anyway, where he'd be most comfortable.

So we have to keep a watch out for him.

Ryan Wintle, defensive midfielder from Cardiff, a great solid player from the Championship who knows this league very well and is very good for Cardiff last season in League One.

They've signed a couple of wingers as well.

Sam Sylvia from Middlesbrough, great Championship player dropping down a division.

I think the players are pushing up really, really high, particularly the back three.

And it got to the point where Wintour and Barley were essentially... playing because it's not what I would see them as really it's like more more deep line playmakers they're basically box box for fielders and I think when that happens and Marv Good and Nelson push up particularly with obviously Nelson again for me it wasn't as fine as showing when that happens and you've gotten a hold of back three Someone like a Joe Taylor, as you mentioned, you know, re-nippy forward who's just going to be a nuisance and cause issues and, you know, leave his mark on defenders.

Obviously, their keeper's going to hoof it up to him, or he's going to pass it on to a wing-back and they're going to hoof it up to Joe Taylor.

He's going to meander all over the place trying to find a space.
