Was it ever at a discussion with you guys that it was gonna be an album?

Oh, always an album.

Always, always, always it'll be an album.

I mean, um- Well, g- we grew up, our dad was a musician.

Uh, we grew up at folk festivals a lot.

So Joel and I used to fall asleep under m- marquee tent tables whilst there was, you know- Irish, Irish people playing ...

Irish music being played ... into the night, you know, 4:00 AM and stuff, you know ... stuff like that in the background.

Was it brain freeze on a title, or is this the most indicative of the band and that's why you just named it self-titled?

Well, you mentioned recording with Brian Howes, and you guys recorded this on the NEV consoles used by ACDC and Rose Tattoo on their early albums, right? So as a musician and a fan of music, what does that mean to you, being able to record on equipment like that that has that much history?

It was amazing.

And, you know, to have Mike Fraser running it, the desk actually needed some repairing.

So, you know, but Mike, obviously, he's got so much, so many years in the biz.

You know, he was straight under the desk.

You know, he was repatching, rewiring cables.

So like as you like for you personally, did you take inspiration from anyone specifically like in that realm, like like watching them when you're younger playing and like how they perform live instead of just like, you know, musically?
