Paul HoldenGUEST
31:53
I think the Rockies have to add at least a pitcher.
Paul HoldenGUEST
31:57
as they really only have Mason Adams and Ryan Feltner, Tanner Gordon, all as your options right now.
Paul HoldenGUEST
32:04
And so it'll be really interesting to see if the Rockies do end up maybe trying to be aggressive on a trade and move on from some of these log jammed outfielders that they have.
Lindsay CrosbyHOST
32:14
I was about to say there's a lot of outfielders in Atlanta.
Spencer SmithHOST
64:40
Chase Dolander, if he's healthy.
Spencer SmithHOST
64:43
You know, Ryan Feltner is an interesting case of do they move him to the pen or do they keep him there? We'll see if Kyle Freeland's back or not and where he ends up pitching.
Spencer SmithHOST
64:50
But like Mason Adams and chat, help me out if I'm forgetting someone very obvious.
Spencer SmithHOST
64:55
Mason Adams, maybe Ryan Feltner are the only two guys that
Christian SaezHOST
64:58
Yeah.
Christian SaezHOST
64:58
You get McCade Brown back, but who knows what he is.
Christian SaezHOST
65:01
Right.
Spencer SmithHOST
65:01
Yeah.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
29:29
That's about to happen.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
29:30
The next big step is the non-tender deadline where guys, you know, on the Rockies roster that we might be interested in seeing, you know, somebody like a Ryan Feltner.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
29:39
Is that a non-tender candidate or is that a trade?
Troy RenckHOST
29:41
And Herget.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
42:15
I've added George Kirby and Hiromi Ito.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
42:18
I've added Ryan Feltner.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
42:20
I still have Lucas Erceg and Nate Pearson.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
42:22
I've added Tatsuya Imai, Adrian Morihone.
Paul HoldenHOST
31:30
Maybe between the two of them, they can get five to six quality innings to get to a young Rockies bullpen.
Paul HoldenHOST
31:36
I think the Rockies have to add at least a pitcher as they really only have Mason Adams and Ryan Feltner, Tanner Gordon, all as your options right now.
Paul HoldenHOST
31:48
And so it'll be really interesting to see if the Rockies do end up maybe trying to be aggressive on a trade and move on from some of these log jammed outfielders that they have.
Lindsey CrosbyGUEST
31:58
I was about to say there's a lot of outfielders, and Atlanta has a lot of uncertainty there.
Henry ChisholmGUEST
28:05
Man, Gabriel Hughes, probably not.
Henry ChisholmGUEST
28:09
Ryan Feltner probably fits in there.
Henry ChisholmGUEST
28:14
Tanner Gordon, if you're looking at like their top AAA guys is fine.
Henry ChisholmGUEST
28:17
Mason Adams probably fits in there.
Jacob MilhamHOST
5:23
And I fully believe that was a very fun exercise.
Jacob MilhamHOST
5:26
And I think that we'll have to we'll probably do like I would say like a low stakes trade iteration because I think that a lot of those were high stakes outside of like Feltner maybe.
Jacob MilhamHOST
5:39
um yeah we're like hey these are these are trades that are hopefully surefire going to improve the 2027 royals
Jeremy GrecoHOST
5:47
uh maybe i'll i'll be the other gm and you can be the royals then for the low stakes ones how about that
Jacob MilhamHOST
6:11
And what were your takeaways from those?
Jeremy GrecoHOST
6:13
Baseball trade values, so the Royals got the much better end of three of those deals.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
6:18
The Feltner deal, they felt like it was even, but it also didn't have Darwin Rodriguez.
Jeremy GrecoHOST
6:24
So... nothing, nothing doing there.

Erika MartinezHOST
5:19
But Brett, you mentioned the rotation earlier.
Erika MartinezHOST
5:22
With Kyle Freeland and Jose Quintana leading the charge, plus younger arms like Ryan Feltner and Tomoyuki Sagano, is the pitching actually a weakness?
BrettHOST
5:31
Absolutely.
BrettHOST
5:32
This is the biggest question mark.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
19:41
I got one for you, and this one's been interesting, and I think you and I both agree on this one.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
19:47
Ryan Feltner is in that spot where...
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
19:51
He's been around for a while.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
19:53
He's 30 years old.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
20:18
If the Rockies want to see him back just because it's been a while.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
20:21
But at the same time, I do know in the case of Feltner, because his stuff, I mean, he's got good stuff.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
20:29
There are a lot of teams that would be very, very interested in Ryan Feltner.
Ryan SpilborghsHOST
20:33
And that's where I think, you know, the Rockies probably would like to see the version of Feltner down the stretch.
Paul HoldenHOST
10:41
But that's what's so tough about this, though.
Paul HoldenHOST
10:45
Who immediately will take Freeland's spot? Who's breathing down the neck of Kyle Freeland to take his spot in the rotation from the organization right now? If I was to say Kyle Freeland, Tanner Gordon, or Ryan Feltner, are you abundantly confident in any three of those guys being an everyday starter for you? But just like we saw that interesting wrinkle with Feltner, can we find another interesting wrinkle and another interesting look at Kyle Freeland? And again, I always, in Kyle Freeland talks, I always admit to being a Kyle Freeland homer, but I think that's the way to evaluate and look at a potential reunion there.
Paul HoldenHOST
11:27
Don't make the reunion under the automatic assumption that Kyle Freeland's back, he's going to be a starter.
Paul HoldenHOST
11:33
Let's look at these other options and these other ways to approach it.
