It has produced a more disturbing image than just simple invasion stories.

On September 16, 1994, something happened at Ariel School in Rua, Zimbabwe, that would eventually attract the attention of investigators, journalists, and a Harvard psychiatrist.

During morning break, numerous school children reported seeing unusual objects near the school grounds.

Some described small figures with large eyes moving near the objects.

Also, you know, another one is in Rua, Zimbabwe.

You know, the kids at Ariel School.

Yep.

They're children.

Very similar to, uh, the aliens that were described by children in Ruwa, Zimbabwe back in 1994.

In September of 1994 in Ruwa, Zimbabwe at the Ariel School, as we all know, uh, a lot of us out there know anyway, there was over 60 school kids who went out for a recess at 10:30 AM.

And, uh, most of the teach- all the teachers were having a conference at the time, so all the kids were out in the playground playing around.

And, uh, 60 plus of these kids saw s- s- these beings or some portion of this event that took place, right? Some of them said they saw the craft flying through the air.

I- it might mean something that makes sense in today's world, right? Uh, but anyway, uh, so some of the kids when they were, uh, later on they're, they are asked about this, some of the kids noted that, uh, that the creature that they saw looked like it had hair hanging down the back of its head, right? Uh, and other kids said that, no, they, from, from the front view w- what they were seeing, apparently, this is what I'm thinking, I'm not sure, uh, this is just pure speculation, but some of the other kids said they didn't notice any hair.

But there were other kids that said that they did notice long black hair on these creatures, right? And not only that, they were wearing black tight-fitting black clothes apparently, right? So that's what they were saying.

And I did, uh, I, I pulled up some reports here on this whole incident, and I wanna read through some of this stuff here, some of the key details of the Ariel School incident, and then I'll show you why I believe it's very possible that, uh, this, w- what Zeus filmed could be one of the same kind of creatures.

'Cause I think that what we're seeing in that video, I think we're seeing hair on the back of its head, and this is, is, pretty much lines up with the description of some of the kids from Ariel School back in 1994, who claimed that what, the creature that they saw had long black hair hanging down the back of its head.

It's classified as a close encounter of the third kind slash mass telepathic contact.

Now, Ruwa is a small agricultural center about 20 kilometers outside of Harare, Zimbabwe.

In 1994, the Ariel School was a private, multiracial primary school known for its high academic standards and grounded student body.

On that Friday, September 16, the faculty was holding a meeting in the staff room.

Outside, 62 children, ranging in age from 6 to 12, were on their mid-morning recess.

Then we see something really exceptional, like the Ariel incident in Africa.

Ariel school, yeah, yeah.

You're familiar, where they show up at a-

Oh, of course.

And, and I, I do think that's part of it.

I do think this consciousness element is also key.

The, well, the fact that they were telepathing messages to the kids at the Ariel School, but to most, uh, contactees, abductees, there's some kind of telepathic residue even afterwards.

And, um, I think it's what John Mack said, who...

None of that exists here.

Consequently, while the Ariel School incident remains one of the most widely cited examples in UFO literature due to its youthful witnesses and striking consistency, it also exemplifies how the human tendency toward narrative cohesion can turn an ambiguous event into a legendary story that persists long after the initial facts are obscured.

Witnesses describe a low humming sound that rose to a high pitch before the craft hovered briefly over their heads, casting long shadows across the rows of school desks, then vanished as if sucked into some invisible tunnel or simply lifted again without a trace.

When the dust settled, the children spoke in unison about seeing black-clad figures, humanoid, elongated with large, dark eyes that seemed to stare right through them.

Children exposed to a dramatic narrative may internalize motifs, leading to convergent imagery in their drawings or descriptions.

In Ariel School’s case, the theme of black-eyed beings with environmental warnings echoes global environmental discourses prevalent at that time.

Examining the claim of telepathic communication, one must consider how children process abstract concepts.

They might translate feelings of fear or curiosity into narrative forms resembling messages from unknown entities.

When reviewing contemporary reports, some investigators highlighted that not all sixty-two children recalled any encounter, suggesting a partial observation rather than universal perception.

If only those present at the playground saw something, this limits the scope of what may have occurred and invites speculation on whether a localized event like a drone or military test could produce such localized effects.

Comparing Ariel School with other mass sightings—say, Rendlesham Forest or Roswell—shows similar patterns: a sudden inexplicable visual, a handful of eyewitnesses, and a lack of physical evidence.

Yet the scale in Ariel was significant due to the number of children involved and the clarity of their accounts.

Those are real.
