Rutland Water

In the meantime, I'm going to be teaching and lecturing, sometimes with Adam Nicholas, my husband, talking about the making of the garden at Sissinghurst and the making of the garden at Perch Hill, both over 30 years.

We're going to be in Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury, Petersfield, and Greenwich, and I'm gonna be teaching at Rutland Nursery on Rutland Water, and then next spring in February, I'm gonna be in Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire.

So I'm going all around the country teaching and lecturing, so I hope to see some of you then, and if not, I will be back next March.

The following week, went to Rutland Water Park, ran on my way to Suffolk.

And the team here at Rutland Water were utterly wonderful.

So absolutely loved heading there.

And they said, we're pleased to let you know you've made the team.

Which was on Rutland Water, which was my first international back in the year 1999.

And it's almost like things had done a full circle.

And we went and we did some practice days and met some of the old team members, the new team members.

A lot of our meetups, we've got a real range of ages.

So for example, we did one at Rutland Water a couple of months ago and there was a girl that just turned 18 and then there was people in their 50s, people in their 70s, their 30s.

There's a real kind of range of ages and everybody's got different experiences.

Also, some people may be really knowledgeable on waders and somebody might not.

My worry with that is obviously where are those cases? You've still got quite a lot of people in the east perhaps waiting to see because it does look very much the west side, doesn't it? I looked

this morning, there's one, we had some in Leicester way, sort of round Rutland Water and then one's jumped to Norfolk.
