I'll introduce our panellists in a moment, but before I do, I'd just like to acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation.

I explained to a group when I was in this room actually this morning that 50 years ago I was adopted into the kinship structure of the Anindaliakwa people on Groote Eiland as part of the Lallara clan.

And I was just recently up there and I went down to a place called Yumbakwa in the south of the island where a man called Ndjuwara Amagoola had taken the Amagoola people away from the mission structure to reconstitute the life they'd traditionally led.
