Rusty Goffe

One of the original Oompa Loompas is back too.

Rusty Goff, who appeared in the 1971 film, returns for this series, and his son Ben is there with him as well.

And you'll just see straight away, you'll know that familiarity.

So, but then there's more.

I was trying to get it in.

So, uh, so I had never heard the name of actor Rusty Goff, although he's been in some pretty big movies like, uh, Harry Potter franchise, Star Wars, History of the World, Fred Claus, Doctor Who, Willow, and of course, Willy Wonka-

Oh, Willy gave it away.

Well, it did.

Two Oompa Loompas.

One of them is named Rusty Goff or possibly Goffy.

I think it was Rusty that was in the Wonka.

He's 77.

The show features 12 contestants and their chosen partners entering a large recreation of Wonka's world and competing in physical, mental, and moral challenges for what Netflix calls a life-changing journey.

Rusty Goff, one of the actors who played an Oompa Loompa in the 1971 film, is returning to that role.

But the person guiding contestants through the factory will not be a new actor playing Willy Wonka.

It will be Gene Wilder's voice recreated with AI.
