Yes.

Now, Russell Johnson was not the first professor.

Actor John Gabriel had initially been cast as the academic character.

I don't know him.

And so I never had like one set model that I was used or something.

I was always trying to match Jack's art style, but I kind of treated Reed like, well, what I thought as a kid is that Russell Johnson from Gilligan's Island would be a great Reed Richards.

And that's what I thought when I was probably seven or 10, you know, and, uh, and then I was happy to do that phase for a long time.

Um, But yeah, it's sort of an evolving of my own perception of seeing that the inherent distinct qualities of Jack's interpretation of these characters, his design of them is specific.

So here I did something where it's all these various Astro City figures throughout the years.

And of course the first family are in there.

And even though I've kind of swapped out Gary Conway for, The Russell Johnson that I used to use as Reed, my lead guy from the first family, Dr.

First, he's still based on Russell Johnson.

Smith Wigglesworth, when he got saved, wanted to get baptized in the Holy Ghost.

[laughing] This is Russell Johnson's favorite story.

And so he went to a meeting that was supposed to be a Pentecostal meeting.

He was going there to get filled [laughing] with the Holy Ghost.
