Yeah, I'm going to try it.

I think there was a while where I had the diode bridges and I was like, because I've got them, I want to use them because I do like a Neve 33609 and they're not Neve 33609s, but they are diode bridges and they were made by Bart Herc who designed the circuit for the fact, when they were putting the 2022 504s into the 500 series, Bart was the person who designed the circuitry for it obviously the circuitry was already there by Rupert Neve but when it got into 500 series he was the guy that made it so he knows how to do diode bridge properly and they definitely have a sound especially because you can switch to the vintage mode and I always use the vintage mode because it's adding that odd order harmonics that's got its own sound so yeah I think that for me that's something I might experiment on as well it's just sometimes just adding it on and off again I don't like to do too much but if a client was to come to me and maybe be like I don't know because again we're not going to give away secrets but there was a few things that our good friend MSM would be like sometimes I'll just put it through and be like send it to the client and they'll be like I don't know what you did but I prefer that one and Paul it could be just a minutiae thing But it works, and I think that sometimes I've got it there, and I know the Fairchild has a SIMD.

I know that the Calrec is very, very clean.

But again, still got a SIMD, and again, the dial bridges have a SIMD.

Like, there's people like Thomas Northwood that exists, right? There's people like Dan Clark that exists.

There's people like Rupert Neve who exists.

All of these technical people... are the pioneers of like making equipment that allows people to achieve amazing sounding fucking records.

If nobody had the technical abilities or nobody learned all this stuff and nobody fucking took the time to be passionate about it, you wouldn't have all the plugins and the tools that you've got.

Sweet.

Oh, you know, the band was English and the British Isles were smart enough to keep the presses in operation throughout the oddies and into the vinyl renaissance.

That reminds me that I just watched that documentary called Sound City on that studio in L.A.

Loved the cameos by famous rock musicians, but the most interesting interview was with inventor of the board of the Englishman, his name, Rupert Neve.

Amazing life, and acknowledged as the man that invented the recording console, as we think of them.

So there's a lot of people in combination of positions that have ultimately been here for a long time and they have been a key part of ultimately being like we're all custodians right of the culture everyone is responsible for the culture within an organization and that longevity and that continuity since we were you know in the case of tim i think there were probably 15 or 20 people at the organization when he joined um you know there's that long-term continuity of what it means to uh to be a part of focus right what it means to work at the company and ultimately what we're trying to deliver um to our customers Again, I'd say the same of Phil Dudderidge.

Phil founded Focusrite Audio Engineering Limited from the ashes of Focusrite Limited that Rupert Neve had founded.

Phil took that on in 89 and has been ever present up until today and has been a key part, again, of that continuity of setting expectations, setting the culture.

That's been a really key part of it is ultimately the people.
