And it's funny, similar to that, like, I've dealt with a couple of, like, racist, fucked up, or, like, just, like, one-sided comments on some of these, like, either reviews or trailer reactions I've been putting out, like, movie you're gonna be talking about tonight, Runner, the last, the week it came, I put out my, um, The trailer reaction, like someone was like going on and on about like, oh, this movie during this blah, blah, blah, this and that.

And like, I'm like, oh, you're getting this confused with the Amazon film, The Runner starring Gal Gadot.

You didn't even take the time.

And then I'm like, they're completely different.

Yeah.

All right.

Well, also on episode 247, I reviewed Runner.

They'll probably have IMAX theaters to the end of time.

Runner did what I would argue is a pretty solid for Angel Studios, $6.4 million in its opening weekend, which is good because it fucking rocks.

I loved it.

It was really fun.

Okay, guys, I have a little Runner thing.

I cannot confirm this, and I'm trying to figure this out.

I spent all day trying to confirm this, so do not take this as gospel.

Allegedly, the version of Runner that is running in Canada, which Angel is not distributing, is allegedly more violent than the one in the U.S.

So I said, hey, I'll take that.

And it's I it's called Runner.

This is a new action movie starring.

Oh, gosh, I forget the guy's name.

It, the, the, you know, the, the Jurassic World is in the rear view.

Uh, and then number four domestically was Runner from Angel Studios, and we've talked about Angel Studios on this podcast previously, 'cause they're the folks who did the animated David: King of Kings, and, uh, they were the ones who purchased, uh, Animal Farm.

Yes.

And, uh, speaking of animated, uh, number five at the domestic box office this past weekend was Coyote Versus Acme.

Now, ironically, we're talking about another film, another action film, about another mismatched pair who are thrown together and Have to work through some obstacles.

That's a movie called Runner.

Alan Ritchson, who's been in a ton of action movies over the last several years.

He plays Reacher on the Prime Video TV show and was also in the faith-based drama Ordinary Angels with Hilary Swank.

He was very good in that.

So you get a vibe of all of his past projects in this movie, Runner.

He plays delivery man Hank in Australia, and he is tasked with transporting courier named Bishop, played by Owen Wilson, and what he has, this special package, which is a liver that's going to go to a hospital to a child in need.

But it's not going to be easy because there are bad guys.
