So yeah, the Boltzmann brain that created the Elysian Kingdom scenario, I guess, is making itself known again and providing therapy for another member of the crew, I guess.

I do have to admit when this episode started, I was kind of hoping we'd see Rukia again and maybe that like she's behind this somehow or something, or it's been keeping tabs on what's going on.

And I mean, I guess those are kind of things we could fill in ourselves, but I, you know, that's not really the story they were telling.

They weren't kind of retreading that story.

This is kind of like, okay.

But yeah, I would have liked just a little something like, Uh, we see at the beginning of the episode, for example, uh, Pike takes Laan to sick bay and Mbenga, um, examines her.

And after she kind of snaps at them a little bit, they kind of exchange these worried looks and like, why not just have something in there that like Rukia through the, the Boltzmann brain is keeping tabs on Mbenga and Mbenga is suddenly very concerned for his friend.

Yeah.

So when the manga originally ended, there was so much outrage because obviously Ichigo ends up with Orihime in the manga.

And everyone was like, why wasn't it Rukia? It should have been Rukia.

And I feel like the anime of the Thousand Year Blood War has... done wonders for Orihime in terms of like this like I watched the episode and I never had an issue with how it all ended anyway but I watched the episode and I was like you cannot watch this episode and come out the other side thinking that she is not worthy of being the person that Ichigo chose at the end like seeing exactly how far and like the episode itself was exceptional can't that you see her getting like insta killed like time and time and time and time again and she just keeps getting back up

yeah yeah it's a it's a really powerful episode um

so historically

just to again if you're a new bleach fan um You're right.

The anime historically has kind of given the idea of Rukia and Ichigo to come together.

And that's why the opening, the second opening, is them back to back, maybe holding hands? I can't remember.

I confess I did not remember this Boltzmann brain stuff.

All I remembered was the idea that Rukia, Mbenga's daughter, who was staying in the transporter pattern because she had a degenerative disease and the nebula of magic, what have you, took her storybook that Mbenga would read to her and transposed everybody on the ship.

in a bottle episode that was solely, Matt, sans vocations uh to be able to do that and he explains that no one else remembers the elysian kingdom season one events except him their memories had all been wiped clean of course pelia was not on the ship at the time so she doesn't have a doppelganger

however there's somebody in this episode

On to Once La'an a Time.

Pike looks so excited to check in with La'an on an emotional level.

A flat planet? Did the writers really think this story element was a good idea right now? Leftovers from Rukia's story.

This could be fun.

Shunsui, Soifan, Byakuya, and Hitsugaya arrive to back them up in the human world and Hueco Mundo, Halle Bell, Nell, Grimmjow, Pesci, Don De Chaka stand up to Uabaha, while in the Soul Society, Uryuu frees Ichigo.

So I like that Rukia knows that the two people to send to fight Uabaha in the Soul Society, following him as he had left the Varveldt, that it was Ichigo and Renji.

That if there was going to be any of them, it's those two.

And, you know, that might change because they, you know, they have been adding to the different fights and different things that have happened in the storyline.

But, you know, this is sticking pretty close to the manga that this is, you know, Ichigo and Renji are the ones who really participate in this fight against Yuu Abaha.

And so alongside that, I also enjoyed Renji's heart-to-heart with Ichigo on the way to the Soul Society.

It was a great way to show that Renji had regretted how things had turned out with his relationship to Rukia.

But thanks to Ichigo, the relationship was starting to grow again.

But in the case of Ichigo, I ain't going to lie, I was.

He got his ass beat into Rukia.

That's why I put Naruto second.

That's why I put Naruto second.

How long was Rukia in the transporter puffer? Do we know that? Because she was like 10 at best.

The thing is that

realistically, the Klingon war should be about as far behind us as the first year of COVID.

I hate, I really do not like, I don't like any of them.

Like, and then Renji gets his ass beat once and then he's like, you know what? I do want to save Rukia now.

and it's like bro like if you really love her like i just don't understand and they were like we didn't think they'd kill her oh so you thought when you arrested her and put her in jail and then they said they were gonna kill her what did you

And also, I'm sorry.

Kisuke, why didn't he help them save Rukia? If he was like the former captain of squad 12 and like the captain of research and development.

You're jumping all over the place now.

Nanao, I feel like, is kinda healing everybody at the same time, but, like, obviously she has to focus on one person more than the other.

And so, like, Rukia is the next one to come up, and is like, "Yo, heal Ichigo and Renji.

Like, if anybody can defeat Yhwach, it's gonna be them.

Like, focus on them next." And Nanao's like, "No, like, let me, I'll just do all," and she's like, "No," like, "Do them next." Um, and so Ichigo kinda comes to, and Orihime sees it.

Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

So they'll, she's like, "Sorry, can't, can't fix it." And then Rukia gives exposition that like, oh, well, the Almighty works and destroys the futures and, uh, because everything was destroyed by the Almighty and all of the futures, that of course it's not gonna work.

Like Rukia, you don't know that.

So basically you decide to ship or not ship.

I prefer the Ichigo-Rukia ship.

Obviously Ichigo and Orihime ended up together, but I wasn't feeling them at all at any point in the anime.
