Ruger Single-Six

And I actually did a YouTube video on this one, and I did a write-up on the Shooter's Apprentice Facebook page.

So the Frontier Scout came out, I believe it was 1957 or 1956, to compete with the Ruger Single Six.

It was an aluminum alloy frame, single action 22 revolver.

Now, in 1962, Colt came out with the Scout Frontier, or the Frontier Scout 62.

Love that thing.

And then of course, a lot of us have had the Ruger Single Action with the convertible cylinders, so you got .22 and .22 Magnum out of the same gun, and that's versatile and lots of fun.

That, thinking back, yep, that was the first revolver I ever owned, was the convertible .22 Ruger Single Action.

Interesting.

I hadn't thought of that, but yeah, going way back.
