And I believe one of their up-and-coming fixtures is rugby school.

And rugby school, again, just mentioned the away wins.

They went away to St. Joe's this week, as you just mentioned.

They were on the road and they managed to come away with a 38-17 win.

Its History In a previous chapter it has been remarked that Shrewsbury School, which was primarily designed as a free grammar school for the boys of that town and of the county of Salop, has from various causes been chiefly supported of late years by scholars drawn from all parts of the kingdom.

At Rugby we have an example of similar kind which affords at the same time a striking illustration of how by efficient management and sound teaching a school may rise from a mere village class to be one of the most important educational institutions of the country.

Rugby School had not the advantage of being started under favour of a king's patronage.

It possessed no powerful aristocratic influence to bring its benefits more strongly within view of the public.

It's impossible.

And then about a month later, we had Rugby school, Shiplake School in Den Haag, on our way to Edinburgh soon, and it's all just happening for us now.

Oh, excellent.

Really great stuff.

They're very athletic and, uh, I think we've, we're gonna produce some fantastic girl, uh, woman cricketers here.

We've got some real talent here.

And then also when now by having the opportunity to go to, uh, the UK at, at, at, um, Rugby School, we had, um, um, Michael Pell, the ex-Warwickshire captain, is the head of s- uh, cricket.

He coached our kids for a week.

Of which, at that point then, Blackheath go, right, well, we don't want to play your game.

We're going to go and join some of the other public schools who want to keep it in, like Rugby School, which is another famous public school in England.

They allow hacking.

We want to play it because it's really important to our game.

They do belong to each other in a more awful sense than they know.

The last paragraph in the essay is interesting in view of subsequent history.

Brooke's was born in 1887, son of a master at Rugby School, was at King's College Cambridge, died of blood poisoning in the Aegean April 23, 1915.
