37:50
I want to just answer this in the best way that I can.
37:53
I work mostly with women.
37:55
I have many male clients, but I work mostly with women.
37:59
And I want to share that distinction because we're talking about masculine versus feminine energy, and we don't mean men versus women.
38:07
That's right.
38:07
So as a man who is building a business, building an empire, wanting to achieve, achieve, achieve, well, that's masculine energy.

9 MINS LATER

47:34
That might be a good little...
10:12
Yeah.
10:13
So we spent a weekend together.
10:14
It was great.
10:15
That morning, we went for a bootcamp workout.
10:17
And then afterwards, we went and sat down for breakfast downtown Austin.
10:22
And he leaned in and he put his hand on my arm and he pulled me closer.
10:27
And in an almost threatening way, in the most non-threatening, threatening way, he pulled me close and he said to me, Rudy, before you ask your question, I want you to know that you're about to step into a role that requires great responsibility.

15 MINS LATER

25:56
What excites you about being in person with people and in a leadership role, which you've been doing for 20 plus years now?
18:12
I'm six there
18:13
...
18:13
I'm a measly five eight.
18:14
[laughs]And so I, I want you to, I want you to imagine this is your body.
18:21
Yeah.
18:21
And your body feels very physical to you because you are in your body, and if you walk or you talk or you move, you can identify with the proximity to where you are.
18:31
But I like to bring awareness to the fact that you are not your physical body.

17 MINS LATER

35:37
Yeah
3:37
Why, how did that shift happen? Like, like, what, what gives them the right to demand such a thing that has to do with such a personal matter in their own lives?
3:45
You know, when we came back ...
3:46
I say "we" like you and I were there.
3:47
When we came back from World War II, you know, what happened was these generals came into corporate America and they had very high positions, military-styled leadership.
3:57
And so emotion and compassion was taken out of business.
4:00
And, you know, we were told to leave our thoughts and our feelings at home.
4:04
You're here to do a function, get your job done, and you need to produce at a really high level.

27 MINS LATER

31:31
Specifically the first 20 minutes of the day, and you invite all your clients to use that first 20 minutes different than maybe the way they have been.
19:57
So how do we overcome the addiction, first of all?
20:00
We, uh, we are addicted to the familiar.
20:04
And can I just give you, like, a break for a second? Because we think that we're addicted to pain, we think we're addicted to suffering, we think we're addicted to our childhood traumas.
20:13
We're not.
20:14
It's just what we've been.
20:16
Your brain is a record keeper of the past.
20:19
So if you think about the brain, it's not actually a thing that's telling you who you're gonna be or what it's gonna be like.

42:51
[laughs]
8:58
I'm like, "What do you like?" [laughs]
9:01
And she would always turn it back onto me.
9:03
And then so over the years, if I were to try and spice things up and I would say, "I'm gonna whisper a scene in your ear.
9:11
You close your eyes and just allow," she would shut down.
9:14
It would be like her body would tense, almost like I was forcing something on her, so then I would stop.
9:19
And then a few years would go by and I would try it again, and then she relaxed, so to speak, into it.
9:25
And our relationship has so deeply and profoundly shifted, which we'll go into in a moment, but the reason I bring this up is twofold.

11 MINS LATER

20:28
[chimes ringing]
15:15
And so, yeah, that was a huge takeaway for me.
15:19
I love that you shared that because the most profound feedback that we got from the retreat was a session that we did where we reminded everybody that this journey of life experience is not just a bunch of accidental moments where you just happen to be in the right or the wrong place at a certain time, but instead a divinely orchestrated bunch of synchronistic events that have led you to the very moment that you're at.
15:53
Aniston used the terminology soul contract a moment ago, and that is the work that she does and she brings into the world.
15:59
It is transformational because it is like somebody seeing into your soul, reading your inner thoughts and your deepest, darkest knowings of who you are, and it's the greatest form of remembrance when somebody gets to hear this because it's not a psychic reading.
16:14
It's based on who you are, your numbers, your birth date, et cetera.
16:18
And we took the conversation a little bit deeper than that, and we reminded every couple, before you were born, you sat at a table with your creator, and you agreed to a lifetime of what you wanted to learn, who you wanted to become, how you wanted to be challenged.
16:41
And in the end, you had this ideal vision of if and should you work through all of these life lessons, opportunities to evolve and expand and to shift your perspective, you would reach a certain status of beingness, knowingness, remembrance.

21 MINS LATER

37:36
It should be a number one strategy, in my opinion.
10:44
And so I would love for you to share your experiences, Rudi.
10:48
Before we start with the story, I wanna ground some information for the benefit of everybody that is listening to this.
10:56
We're talking about coming out of the spiritual closet, and what we're really saying is Anniston and Rudi decided at some point in time, not at the same time, to step into their knowing of who they are and to show up fully as the person that they've committed to coming here to being.
11:14
This is only going to be a beneficial episode if you turn it around on you.
11:20
Where are you not 100% authentic in your life? Where are you being too quiet in the boardroom? Where are you not ideating with people when they're asking for your opinion? Where are you dressing to prim and properly because you don't want to offend, because you don't want to be seen, because you don't want attention? Where are you not putting yourself in bigger rooms because you're so scared to be seen? And all of these are triggers, and my story, and very much Anniston's story, was we are two people deeply and profoundly grounded in our spiritual faith.
11:58
We connected on our very first date talking about the meaning of life and reincarnation and meditation and all of the beliefs of coming here as these beautiful, divine souls who have a purpose and a mission, and our questions were not like, you know, "Do you like pasta?" Or, "Do you like that?" No.
12:16
We were saying like, "Oh, my gosh," like, "What lights you up? What is your purpose? What are your superpowers? Who do you wanna be? If you could achieve anything..." Like, that was our first date, and we've always been grounded in the fact that we came here to create impact.

28 MINS LATER

40:44
But set yourself free and start today.
22:31
And so how did you achieve that? What would you share with other people that would help them to achieve that?
22:37
I think I'm going to answer your question that in a way, I think that'll serve the audience the best.
22:43
I'm always in every moment wanting to be a teacher.
22:46
And I think we all are.
22:47
We're always teaching how to do or how not to do.
22:49
And I'm going to phrase this through the lens of somebody inside of my community.
22:56
A... young woman raised a question and she asked, how does she solve this particular problem? And the problem is not important.

21 MINS LATER

44:19
So I know what my answer to that is, but I'm curious what your answer to that is.
