The festival is running later this year, so it was from August 7th until August 31st, that's today.

Schools in Scotland returned all the way back on August 12th, so it was only the summer holidays for a very small period of the fringe, which has had an impact, certainly.

I mean, it's difficult for new starters as well, people who are just getting into the industry and they're performing for nobody.

I suppose that can be part of the experience of doing the fringe, though, historically.

But then you're looking at people like, you know, Ruby Wax was an example there.

You'd reckon that she would sell out a venue dead easy.

But I think that for a lot of people, there's certain people that have their voice.

So, for example, Stephen Fry and Ruby Wax have been forerunners in this field.

But the thing about that is they've done wonderful documentaries and brilliant, brilliant books.

But my audience, actually from Bolton, wouldn't necessarily relate to Oxbridge-educated Ruby and Steven.

He's the UK's Barry Manilow.

The idea of there's something about energy, isn't there? There's something about that, that energy that makes you, you, and it's about that energy flowing in a way that is able to be consistent and not over bright but not flicker down either.

And I think frazzled has a bit of humor to it.
