I've watched that match so many times over the last month.

I think the proudest thing that's going to happen with this match is, you know, I showed you guys last weekend I was in Florida and I showed, uh, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, uh, Ruby Riot, uh, and, uh, no, not Tommaso.

Okay.

And, uh, I, so I showed, uh, I showed those guys and, uh, Johnny told me that sometime in the near future he's going to show Shawn Michaels that match at the Performance Center.

No.

I love [laughs] how that line, "It sounds like reggae." Like [laughs] no, this actually belongs to Ruby Soho.

MJF against Brian Pillman Jr., which got quite a bit of hype.

Britt Baker against Ruby Soho one-on-one.

I don't want to bury the lead there, but that's a big deal too.

And then Sting and Darby.

I think Butcher's been injured for what's the better part of the year.

They're getting a tag team title shot on Friday.

And then next Wednesday, you've got Ruby Soho immediately getting her women's title shot against Britt Baker.

And I've got no problem with any of that, but it's like, it seems to me that like this rating system, like maybe it's ran its course and it's time to do something different.

Britt Baker against a babyface that fans aren't that into because they're really into Britt.

Well, suddenly Ruby Soho shows up, and you might have that person who AEW's audience is going to cheer against Britt Baker if they tell the story well.

So much of a heel turn or a babyface turn or whatever working if it's against the grain of fan instincts is the quality of story you tell and how effective that opponent is so that the fan's tendency to go against the grain doesn't matter.

They're on board with you.

But it didn't matter at the end because AEW has such a deep roster and has such goodwill and... built and had these surprises and these big moments that it didn't matter that like CM Punk sort of had, I mean, I know some people really liked it, but an okay match, you know, Eric Kroll attended and wrote last night going, man, that was flat, you know, in the building for Punk and, you know, on the lower end of expectations.

And there were a bunch of matches that were under three stars, like almost every match I had under three stars.

But if you have that four-and-a-half to five-star tag match with the Bucks and Lucha Bros, and you have a solid main event with a who-cared-what-happened-in-the-main-event post-match-angles series with a great swerve of Cole, and then you've got Minoru Suzuki as a pleasant surprise and brilliant use of Ruby Soho.

We're not going to test her and reformat her and break her down before we build her up.

I'm gonna fucking laugh if it's Jamie Hayter.

Not Jamie Hayter, but it is Ruby Soho and Alex Winza.

Yeah, Ruby Soho is, uh, supposedly on her way back very soon to AEW.

She, I guess, has been discussed for a potential return.

She's been out for a while now.
