It is psychological torture.

She is or was a highly regarded church-approved therapist.

Now, the boy is the son of Ruby Franke, who has a YouTube channel called 8 Passengers, and she blogs about the life of her and her husband, along with their six children.

And the backstory of Jodi Hildebrandt shows that she was able to use her gift of gab as a Mormon missionary to not only recruit tons of members to the church, but to figure out how to influence thousands of people to follow her twisted ideas and destroy their lives while taking their money.

Now, losing her therapist license, that didn't slow her down one bit, 'cause you don't need a license to be a life coach.

She convinced Ruby Franke to be her partner, to move in with her, and to allow her to take over the care of her children.

Now, the documentary is an hour and 40 minutes.

In a lot of cases, and I'm-- How do I know a lot? I don't have numbers.

I'm gonna say I've heard other cases and other documentaries and read things when I used to know how to read about religions that have people either not go to therapy or only go to, um, religious therapists that are also in their faith like, like, uh, the Ruby Franke situation.

Uh, Jodi Hildebrand was like a Christian, a Mormon counselor.

Anyway, oftentimes that is just another way of trying to control people and keep them within the, um, the structure of the religious community or the cult, which is like Gloriavale.

But then you have parents who may be actually utilizing that sharing for monetary gain or commercial reasons.

And I think seeing, you know, things that happen like with the Ruby Frank case and the There's a really well done documentary on Netflix right now called Bad Influence that is about a child who was on YouTube and really prolific.

And then, you know, what happened with her and some of the other children involved in that channel.

So I think that can help pediatricians understand the risk.

I think sharenting is one of these things that, you know, over the past decade or so, people have recognized that, you know, it's going beyond people just trying to connect.

And there is a threshold there.
