Rubén Blades

Not in competition, there's another interesting film by the veteran director, Fernando Treba, called Bajani, which is a music documentary about connections between Roma musical culture, Latin America, and jazz.

So it's got major names like Ron Carter, Salsa, Megastar, Ruben Blades, the Brazilian singer Marisa Monte.

And then you've got, you know, other names in there, major names like...

Pablo Larraín has a horror series which is going to be shown as a film there based on the short stories of that very, very unnerving Latin American writer, Mariana Enriquez, who's very much kind of cult name these days.

They just didn't want us to work together.

In "Zombie Apoc-" I'll tell you what, though, uh, my two favorite episodes of "Fear the Walking Dead", one is, uh, Ruben Blades' episode that was entirely in Spanish with-

... uh, as, as Daniel.

But Nacho Molino is our engineer and producer on the last couple of albums, including Go Rebel.

And, you know, he comes from, you know, a deep skill set working with even folks like Ruben Blades, where he's got a bunch of Grammys with.

And so being able to go in early on and do pre-production with Nacho is kind of like the fifth Beatle.

It's just a fantastic thing, and it's really critical to how we create our songs.

He worked with Willie Colon, fantastic arrangers, and there's, none of them are on there.
