Royal Princess

Princess, maybe.

I've done a video review of Royal Princess, actually, and I found the same thing.

That's right.

And it's just very difficult because there's activities going on in the main piazza.

Yeah, I mean, look, they're obviously pitching themselves towards a particular type of traveller who enjoys the, you know, they used to call it the discerning traveller in the brochures back in the day.

You know, probably not the same sort of crowd who you would find on board, say, Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

But, you know, to your point from the Cruising with Millennials video, that's actually a really great example because, say, for example, for myself, I've traveled on board the Royal Princess and on paper she's a beautiful ship.

But I've also traveled on board the Coral Princess, which is much smaller and much older.

The Norwegian Jade is on a seven-night cruise from Whittier down to Vancouver.

And Royal Princess is dealing with an engine problem that has forced the ship to cancel two of its port stops during its current Alaska sailing.

Now, the ship departed Seattle Saturday, but a letter sent to guests says that a technical issue with the ship's engine is restricting its speed, making it impossible to maintain the scheduled itinerary.

As a result, calls to Juneau and Ketchikan have been canceled, leaving Skagway and Victoria as its remaining scheduled port stops.

Princess says the issue does not impact the safety of guest or crew, and technical teams are working to resolve the problem.

Passengers are receiving a 50% refund of the cruise fare along with refunds for the shore ex that are canceled.

Royal Princess is still expected to return to Seattle on schedule Saturday.

And construction has reached another milestone on Royal Caribbean's fifth Icon-class ship.
